I don't think there's anything quite as relaxing and peaceful as a long hot soak in the tub after a hard day's work, the perfect place to soothe the aches and pains away, to sit in the dark with a few candles flickering and perhaps a glass of wine to hand?
Ok, ok so that would be my pre-pregnancy self talking, but hey one can dream eh?
It's a pretty rare occurrence nowadays if i'm honest. With Mr B working away all week and a baby to look after i tend to grab a quick shower of an evening and even that becomes a mission in itself. It's not the 'take as long as you want shower' it once was, more a 'sit the baby in the bouncer, leave the bathroom door open, don't even bother locating the razor for your legs, soap, rinse, wash hair and out' kind of shower. I am just so rock 'n' roll these days!
Although given the option, i wouldn't change it for the world as i think one of the most quiet and relaxing times now as a mummy is watching my little monkey sleep, there's nothing more comforting and precious than those little moments.
